God’s Wisdom For Your Money: Say No to Debt

ScriptureProverbs 22:7

“The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower becomes the lender’s slave.”

Scripture MemoryHebrews 9:27; Rom 10:9

. . . people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment (Heb 9:27)

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Rom 10:9)

Journey: For today’s “Journey” let’s just review our sermon subjects for the month of November (which are listed in a “logical” order below but also have the corresponding dates printed to their right side). To live with financial wisdom you must. . .

1. Get All You Can – Work Hard (11/27)
2. Save All You Can – Live Simply  (11/6)
3. Say No to Debt – It’s the New Slavery (11/13)
4. Give All You Can – Be Generous (11/20)

If you have missed any of the sermons in this series I would encourage you to go online and listen prayerfully to what you’ve missed. As you do that, ask God to give you insight into your financial “state” and to help you make the changes that are necessary to move you towards health and freedom. While you are at it – how about praying for our church, at large, concerning these subjects?
