God’s Wisdom For Your Money: Save All You Can

ScriptureProverbs 3:9-10

Honor the Lord with your substance and with the first fruits of all your produce; then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine.

Scripture Memory:  Romans 3:23; 6:23

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

“The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Journey: For today’s “Journey” let’s just recap our sermon series on money to this point in bullet form. Here’s where we’ve been: To live with financial wisdom you must. . .

  1. Realize that God is the source, and the owner, of everything you possess
  2. Realize that money is not a measure of true success
  3. Realize that money is not a source of true happiness
  4. Realize that always wanting more money is an expression of greed
  5. Realize that you will enjoy life much more if you give than if you don’t

Over the next four weeks we’re driving at getting very practical as we continue this study on money. Here’s today’s subject: “To live with financial wisdom you must save all you can.” As is common, I’d like to leave you with a question. “Do you believe it is possible to both save all you can and to give all you can throughout your life?” Think it through . . .

May God bless you and prosper you in every way,
